Demeyere ControlInduc Pans: no more overheating on induction cookers and induction hobs Demeyere Controlinduc Technology With the Demeyere ControlInduc products, Demeyere uses different materials in the multilayer material up to the edge. As you may know, an induction cooker needs a magnetic substance in the bottom to create heat. Without a magnetic substance (e.g. with copper or aluminium), the pan will not heat up on the induction cooker. The magnetic material Demeyere uses in the outer layer of the product has very special properties. It is a unique super alloy that remains magnetic up to 250°C. Above this temperature, the Demeyere pan made with is material loses its magnetic properties and therefore the induction cooker decreases its transmittable energy levels. Quality The manufacturing of a Demeyere ControlInduc product requires a special and unique material that is very expensive because of the price of the raw materials and alloys used to achieve this remarkable result. The higher price of these Demeyere products is largely compensated by the achieved cooking results. When the instructions are followed carefully, the Demeyere ControlInduc products may be used life-long. The use of Demeyere ControlInduc aids in maintaining the quality of the cooked food as well as the health of the user. The quality of most non stick pans decreases very quickly due to overheating. In many cases a non stick pan must be replaced every six months. A Demeyere ControlInduc pan (with or without non-stick coating) cannot overheat on induction and guarantees years of use. Following overheating the Demeyere Controlinduc pans heat controlling ability will work perfectly on an induction cooker but if the non-stick surface has been damaged by the conventional cooker the non-stick coating will quickly deteriorate. 3) When using Demeyere ControlInduc without non stick coating (ProControl), the ordinary heat sources (gas and electricity) are not a risk for the product. It will maintain its capacity to adjust the temperature on compatible induction cookers, even after years of use. 4) Never use sharp objects in a Demeyere pan with non stick coating. This will prolong the lifespan of your Demeyere ControlInduc product. Currently, there are quite a lot of products made from synthetic materials that do not damage the non stick coating. 5) When used in a professional environment ControlInduc avoids loss of heating time and works so that the pan stays always warm without the risk of overheating.
