This is a further technical development, that does not require halogen lamps. Another principle of metal resistance is used so that the coils producing the heat become glowing red and seem to light up. This systems heats faster than the previous one. This new system has not as yet been tested for intensive and long-term use. The coils used can withstand higher temperatures than the normal coils used in electric cookers or ceramic cooking plates.
