Cooking
pasta is probably something you do every week and often for several
people. Of course, you can boil the pasta directly in the pot/pan and
drain before serving. We do not need to tell you how dangerous and
heavy work it can be to drain a large pot of boiling water. In
addition, you have to re-boil the water if you did not make enough. The
paste inserts of Demeyere can be a possible solution. These pasta
inserts fit into the Demeyere soup kettles/high pots of the same
diameter, provided they are high enough. They are made from 18/10
stainless steel and the high brims prevent the foam on top of the
spaghetti or pasta from boiling over. A spaghetti insert is also
practical to blanch large quantities of vegetables to freeze them.
After blanching, remove the insert and drain the water.
